EFU Life Assurance's Annual Report 2014, 'The Future...Belongs To Those Who Create It’, was awarded 1$ Runner Up for the Best Corporate Report (BCR) Award 2014 in the Non Banking Financial Institutions Category. This ranking is declared by a Joint Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP). Mr. Shahid Abbas, Chief Financial Officer, EFU Life Assurance Ltd. received the award on behalf of the company.
The Non Banking Financial Institutions (NBFI) Category comprises of the Insurance industry both Life and General Insurance, Modaraba's, Asset Management companies and Leasing companies.
Since 2000, ICAP and ICMAP are jointly organizing the awards with an objective to encourage and give recognition to companies for showing excellence in their annual corporate reports the award recognizes the best annual reports of companies in terms of corporate accountability and transparency through the publication of timely, informative, factual and reader friendly annual reports.
