Bhubaneshwar, India: EFU Life Assurance Limited, leading life insurance provider in the country, has been honored with 'Certificate of Merit' for the Best Presented Annual Report 2013 in the category of 'Insurance Sector' by South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA). The awards ceremony was recently held at a local hotel in Bhubaneshwar, India on 4th December, 2014. The awards were conferred on the basis of improvement in transparency, accountability & governance pertaining to annual reports of organizations from South Asian countries.
Earlier this year, the organization's Annual Report of 2013, 'Power of Strings' received the Best Corporate Report (BR) Award in the Non Banking Financial Institutions (NBFI) category by Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP).
