By the grace of ALLAH Almighty I am proud to introduce myself as a successful sales consultant in life insurance industry.

I began my journey with EFU Life in 2010 as sales consultant, and currently I am holding the 2nd highest title “Chief Business Manager” in EFU LIFE. I completed my 1st BDM in 2011 and since then I have been continuously achieving success in my career.

My parents and colleagues have played a huge role in getting me here. I am very grateful to them.

For a significant amount of time, I held a strong aspiration to become the leading performer at my Company, and through the grace of Almighty Allah, that desire has been fulfilled. Over the course of 13 years, I have attained 12 BDMs, MDRT, Falcons, and even earned the privilege of driving a Company-maintained car. Furthermore, I am grateful to EFU LIFE for providing me with the opportunity to travel and broaden my horizons.

I qualified for the Business Development Manager in 2011 and attended the first Annual Sales Conference which was a turning point in my career. During my entire 14 years with EFU Life, I have achieved 9 MDRT qualifications, 6 Falcons club and have been awarded with a company-maintained car.
This year I have qualified for Eagle club and court of the table as well.

EFU Life is a company which provides a bright and long-term career growth. I am thankful to Mr. Malik Azhar Sb and my senior friend Malik Kashif sb who supported and guided me throughout my career. Under the supervision of such leadership and the dynamic personality of our beloved NSD, Mr. Mustafa Hussain Oonwala, I have boosted my professional skills and polished them further to achieve excellence.

I’ve been working with the Pakistan’s largest life insurance company in the private sector, since July 2008. With EFU Life I have experienced a luxurious lifestyle. It provided me with an opportunity to tour all over the world by successfully achieving company’s given targets.

I graduated from the University of Karachi having completed my Diploma in Islamic Banking and in Business Administration. After starting my career in banking sales, I started doing my own business. My success journey started in 2015 when I qualified for the very first time for Falcon Club membership and since then there is no turning back. Last year in 2021 first time I Qualified for a Diamond club membership. My experience working with EFU Life has been great and has changed my life.

MY MOTIVATION

My biggest motivation is my family. My Parents, whose prayers are always with me, my wife who always stand with me and kids who have always supported me in keeping a balance between work and personal life.

I, Ghulam Shabeer Laghari from Hyderabad new city branch, joined EFU life on August 2015 as a sales consultant. Before this opportunity, I was working as a financial consultant with various banks panels (evaluator) such as State Bank of Pakistan & other private banks. Prior joining, I heard from many people that they have joined EFU life accidently – I’m also one of them. I started my career as a sales consultant at EFU Life and was later promoted to senior sales consultant. I left the sales career path and moved to management as a unit manager in November 2019 and got promoted to a Sr. unit manager. I left the management for couple of months due to unavoidable circumstances and later joined the Sales Career path and became Star of the Month (October) across Pakistan.

I completed my Business Development Manager target in two months focusing on Falcon and car qualification target. I from the start, believed that I will achieve the target. It was very hard for me, but my seniors motivated and helped me out in this achievement at every step specially Syed Sabir Ali (Group Manager), Prem Chand Bhamabhani, Muhammad Kashif Shaikh, Muhammad Umair Shaikh, Syed Raza Abbass, Ms. Paras Shamsheer , Syed Faizan Ali and my all other colleagues. I want to thank EFU Life Management for the opportunity & my other colleagues. May Allah give Success to us all, Ameen.

MY MESSAGE

My advice to my juniors would be stay passionate about their work and do not follow any shortcuts, every field requires some time to grow. EFU life provides you with opportunities where you can really dream BIG and also make your dreams a reality! You only need clear vision, hard work, skill and most importantly believe in yourself and your dream will become a REALITY.

I joined EFU LIFE in July 2013, after completing my graduation. I did my first BDM in 2016, first MDRT in 2018 and my first Falcon in 2020. Alhumdulillah, last year I qualified for ‘Court of the table’ (COT) and has continued the progression of BDM MDRT and FALCON till date. My friend introduced me to EFU Life and to my Zonal Manager Mr. Kashif Hussain Malik. He motivated me a lot that you can achieve whatever you want in life and that I’ve the right skill set for it also. He is the reason I am at EFU till date. At the beginning I was confused whether to pursue my career in EFU Life or not but now, Alhumdulillah I feel proud to be a part of this Company.

My message to new generation is to come and experience the world of EFU Life and see that Life Insurance is not only a business but also ‘Service to humanity’.
